My background is in documentation, design systems, and systems thinking, but the work has always been about making sure the decisions that shape a product are clear enough for anyone, or any tool, to use correctly.

Design systems tell you what exists. They rarely capture why. That gap creates drift for human teams and breaks down entirely when AI enters the workflow. AI can see a design system. It can't reason with intent that was never made explicit. It guesses rather than decides.

The work I care about is closing that gap. Making design decisions legible for the people building products and for the AI building alongside them.
